Meet Tequla!
Tequla lives in Austell, GA, just outside of Atlanta where she grew up. She loves animals and serves with a rescue team for cats. Tequla joined Pleio over six years ago. Before Pleio, Tequla worked in a utility company’s call center, mostly answering questions about service and billing. “When I saw the Pleio position, I wondered if it was a real job because it sounded so good I had to give this a try. After the first month, I was hooked! Six years later, I’m still here.”
What keeps Tequla at Pleio as a GoodStarter?
Tequla loves the job flexibility, GoodStarter team camaraderie, and the reward of supporting patients.
Flexibility: This is the first fully remote job for Tequla who appreciates the comfort of working out of her home, “No traffic to deal with, no gas to burn, and no dress code to follow!”
Camaraderie: Tequla loves the fact that she can socialize with coworkers while working. “No other job that I’ve experienced encourages the camaraderie that Pleio does.” Tequla feels supported as a GoodStarter from the GoodStart University training courses to the daily interactions with her team. She appreciates the Support chat where someone is always available to assist. Over the years with Pleio, Tequla has worked on specialized teams for enrolling patients in GoodStart programs in addition to supporting specific Brand Patient Support Programs. Tequla was featured as a “good call example” in a training at Pleio’s Good Start University. She is now certified in all GoodStart programs and looks forward to training on new ones.
Supporting Patients: Tequla’s own words: “Best of all, nothing can compare to the feeling of satisfaction that I get when a patient tells me they feel better about taking their medicine. I get a warm feeling when they tell me they learned something new about their medicine such as how to take it and as a result, they feel empowered and more in control of their health and wellbeing. “
Our GoodStarters connect with thousands of patients every day when they are their most human, vulnerable selves. It’s connections like these, that offer kindness, motivation, and the encouragement to manage and be successful on one’s health journey.
Being human is simpler than you think.
